At a ceremony held for the Royal Television Society East Awards at Gonville & Caius College, University of Cambridge on 21 June 2024, the short documentary film 'Discovering the Gloucester' won a prestigious award in the category of 'Factual-Specialist'.
The film, produced by Eye Film, was part of the 2023 exhibition 'The Last Voyage of the Gloucester: Norfolk's Royal Shipwreck, 1682' held at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery and co-curated by Claire Jowitt and Benjamin Redding from UEA and Ruth Battersby and Francesca Vanke from Norfolk Museums Service. The film told the story of the ship's discovery by Julian and Lincoln Barnwell and James Little in 2007 and featured interviews with Claire and Benjamin who discussed the discovery within its social, historical, and political contexts.
